Wildax Altair RL

Based on the superb MAN TGE . The Altair is a rear lounge/bed motorhome with front dinette/bed and travel seats. The most unique feature of the Altair is the all electric habitation area. Cooking, heating, hot water fridge – all powered from mains and 12v. The Altair is fitted as standard with an all in one Lithium leisure battery system which power the 12v systems and through a built in 3kW inverter will power all your cooking and other needs without being plugged into the mains. The system is charged from the 410W solar system whilst in the wild, from the engine via the ‘supercharger’ whilst driving (up to 80 Amp!) or from the mains whilst parked up. Cooking is offered via the 2 induction ring hob and microwave. There is a large 150 litre all electric fridge/freezer. Heating and hot water are provided by the Truma 4D, diesel and mains electric powered system. The layout gives you 4 travel seats, and 3 beds. The front area is a dinette which converts to a single bed. In the rear is a large U-shape lounge which offers 2 single or one double bed. In the kitchen and all areas of the motorhome you will find lots of storage in the form of drawers and cupboards to give room for extended trips away in the van. There is even a large full width storage area under the rear lounge accessed via the rear doors. The washroom is a full wet room with storage with our custom made all fibreglass shower tray, with sink and toilet. The Man TGE we use is the 140Bhp diesel powered van coming as standard with 6 speed manual and the optional upgrade to the excellent 8 speed auto gearbox. As you would expect from a Wildax it has a great specification as standard. The Altair is fully winterised with insulated water tanks.
